It's located at: C:\Documents and Settings\Ryan\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\dll.xmlĭ:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\Mission Creation Kit\Object_Placement. Any ideas? Here is a copy of my dll.xml file. But when I start FSX it starts up like normal. I followed the instructions for setting up the sdx, and I double checked my dll.xml file to make sure that nothing was disabled. So i got the delux edition of FSX, and I wanted to try the mission builder. I have been struggling for months trying to get SDK to run and I can say that following the instructions given concerning moving files etc, my SDK also now works fine.Ī big thank you and to all those who haven't tried it.try it.
Would just like to say a very big thank you to other Guest. FSX acceleration makes troubles with all the extras in FSX, only the standard microsoft programs run ive lost my AI planes (traffic FSX-2005), lost freeware planes (tornado IRIS) ive a pc with a geforce 8800 GTS 4 G mem an dualcore processor intel when i unistall acceleration DIVX 10 stays, and all my planes (normal and AI) return with CRYSIS, the nvidia 163 crashes. When it wasn't working for me, I only saw the first line of the SimConnect dialog i.e. The SimConnect dialog stays there until you quit FSX (you can minimize it if you want). The SDK does not launch by itself or anything. You should see the tools menu on the right of the menu bar beside 'help'. You have to go into free flight mode and turn on menus with the "ALT" key. If you see that, then it should be working. I see the following in the SimConnect dialog that pops up after launching FSX:Ġ.53256 DLL Loaded: Path="C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\Object_Placement.dll" Version="5.0" Can someone help please? Thanks in advance - Orion
How long does the command prompt window stay there? I can't close the command prompt unless I close Flight Simulator X.
Can someone help me? I have done all the things done in the previous post and all I get is a command prompt windows that says that the dll ha loaded.
